Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 24, 2026

Construction is a high stakes industry. Bad data leads to blown budgets, cracked foundations, and stalled projects. We built Construction Edgez to fix the information gap. We provide the frameworks you need to vet contractors, understand project scopes, and manage complex builds.

But we need to set the ground rules. Read these terms. They define our relationship.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing constructionedgez.com, you agree to follow these rules. If you disagree with anything written here, close the tab. Stop using the site.

Your continued use means you accept these terms in full. We do not negotiate these conditions on an individual basis. You are either in agreement, or you are in the wrong place.

2. We Are Publishers, Not Your General Contractor

This is the most important section on this page. Read it twice.

We publish data driven construction strategies. We review vetting protocols. We explain how to spot a failing foundation or a bloated roofing quote. We equip you with the knowledge to manage your projects effectively.

We do not act as your licensed general contractor. We do not pull your local permits. We do not sign off on your architectural plans.

Every municipality has different building codes. Soil conditions vary from block to block. A structural strategy that works in Los Angeles clay will fail in Florida sand. You must hire local, licensed professionals to inspect your site, design your plans, and execute the work. Our content exists to make you a smarter client. A website cannot inspect your load bearing walls.

3. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

We spend hundreds of hours interviewing site managers, reviewing contractor bids, and analyzing construction data. We write every word on this site.

We own it. The text, the vetting checklists, the custom graphics. All of it belongs to Construction Edgez.

You cannot copy our articles and paste them on your own contracting blog. You cannot scrape our data to train an algorithm. You can share our links. You can quote a few sentences and link back to the original page. That is the absolute limit of fair use.

4. Affiliate Disclosure and Financial Transparency

We run a business. Sometimes we link to project management software, estimating tools, or specific construction gear. If you click those links and buy something, we earn a commission.

That commission never dictates our editorial stance. We reject sponsorships from companies with poor track records. We test the tools. We review the specs. We publish our honest findings.

If a popular project management app crashes during a bid review, we tell you. Our loyalty is to the project outcome. We do not protect vendor reputations.

5. User Contributions and Community Standards

We occasionally allow comments or user submitted project photos. When you submit content to Construction Edgez, you grant us a license to display it, modify it, and keep it on our servers.

You must own the rights to the photos you upload. Do not post pictures of a job site if you do not have permission from the property owner.

We moderate our community heavily. We delete spam. We ban users who post toxic comments or solicit unverified contracting services. We keep the signal high and the noise low.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Construction is inherently unpredictable. Supply chains collapse. Weather delays concrete pours. Hidden water damage derails timelines.

Because of this reality, we provide our content strictly “as is”. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or current relevance of the information. Building codes change. Material costs fluctuate daily.

We promise to publish our best, field tested insights. We do not promise that our advice will perfectly align with your specific site conditions. You assume all risks associated with applying our strategies to your physical projects.

7. Limitation of Liability

You are responsible for your own hiring decisions. You are responsible for your own project management.

If you hire a contractor based on our vetting checklist and they abandon the job, Construction Edgez is not liable. If you attempt a structural renovation and cause property damage, we are not responsible.

Under no circumstances will Construction Edgez, its owners, or its writers be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this website.

Your projects are your responsibility. Period.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal disputes arising from your use of constructionedgez.com will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

We operate from a specific physical reality. Our legal framework reflects that.

9. Modifications to These Terms

The construction industry evolves. Our website evolves alongside it. We will update these terms when necessary to reflect new site features or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we update the effective date at the top of this page. We do not send individual emails for every minor legal update. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically.

10. Contact Information

Do you have questions about these terms? Ask us directly.

We do not hide behind automated legal portals. Real people manage this site. Send your questions to [email protected].

We review inquiries weekly. Expect a response within three to five business days.
